When Felice Vinci wrote his book The Baltic Origins of Homer’s Epic tales in the 90’s, describing a Bronze Age society that was far more advanced than was believed up until then by historians and archeologists, he always claimed that future archaeology would have to prove if his theory was right or not.

Today, new archeological technologies and discoveries are continuously proving him right. This article shows that the Bronze Age was like an early version of the Viking Age. Maybe the Viking Age should be considered as the last upswing of a culture that had lasted for millennia.
